AFT’s new report focuses on the significant potential of no-till and cover crop practices to increase soil carbon sequestration and reduce nitrous oxide emissions for a net reduction in GHG emissions. Although there is still much to learn, the existing literature is nonetheless clear that regenerative practices do sequester carbon and could prove useful in combatting climate change.
