Getting ready for the college experience

Preparing for the next step of your academic journey can be overwhelming. National entrance exams, such as the ACT, can be intimidating, but CNF is here to help you achieve success. By utilizing our prep classes, boot camps, summer camps and more, you’ll gain valuable testing strategies that will leave you confident and capable of achieving your top score.

Registration for the programs below are offered at no cost to Native students on a first-come, first-served basis. Preference is given to Cherokee Nation citizens.

The annual ACT Prep Camp is taking on a virtual format this year. The camp breaks out each academic section so students can identify their strengths and weaknesses and master test-taking strategies that will increase confidence and test-day scores. The camp coincides with the National ACT on June 8.

The Cherokee College Prep Institute connects high school juniors and seniors with admissions counselors from across the U.S. to explore schools of interest, analyze, prepare and complete college applications and identify scholarship opportunities. The weeklong camp is hosted at Rogers State University in Claremore, where students live on campus and explore what college life is really like.

CCPI curriculum was developed in cooperation with College Horizons, the U.S. Department of Education and the Princeton Review.
