CONDOR Mk3

CONDOR Mk3 is an Optical Communications Terminal (OCT) purpose-built to address the growing need of high-bandwidth, secure, license-free and cost-efficient satellite communications for next-generation constellations. The versatile terminal enables intra-plane and cross-plane inter-satellite connectivity in low Earth orbit (LEO) for various applications.

The product is the successor of Mynaric’s CONDOR Mk2 terminal that retains full compliance with the Space Development Agency’s (SDA)’s for Tranche 0 and Tranche 1 of the Proliferated Warfighter Space Architecture with a much smaller size, less weight, and lower power consumption (SWaP). Using best-in-class design concepts and optimized for scaled deployment as part of satellite constellations, the CONDOR Mk3 provides unprecedented wireless communication speeds for long distance inter-satellite links. CONDOR Mk3’s utilization of laser communications technology allows ultra-secure communication with low probability of detection or interception and means the product can be freely used without requiring frequency coordination with regulatory authorities.
