Spotlight PR LLC is a Black woman-owned social justice public relations firm. Founded by Jennifer R. Farmer, the firm is committed to ensuring that good people have great public relations support. Known as ‘The PR Whisperer,’ Farmer supports leaders who advocate for racial and social justice.

Farmer has made her mark in social justice movements, holding a range of senior leadership positions with national racial justice, labor and faith-based groups. She is the author of “Extraordinary PR, Ordinary Budget: A Strategy Guide (Berrett-Koehler 2017)” and “First and Only: A Black Woman’s Guide to Thriving at Work and in Life (Broadleaf Books 2021 and 2022).” Farmer is the host of the award-winning podcast, Faith Talks, which is a production of United Women in Faith, formerly United Methodist Women.
