A Dollar General on Eastern Boulevard in Essex closed on Feb. 4, due to evidence of a rodent infestation, according to an official with the Baltimore County Department of Health and Human Services.

A health department inspector observed two mice at the store and signs of rodent activity, such as droppings and open food bags on shelves.
