Step Up is fighting to win our economic justice 3-Point Platform: $15, Equal Pay and Fair Chance Hiring! We also are working on our Workers’ Bill of Rights and dollar store worker organizing campaigns.

We hit the ground running.
Step Up Louisiana was founded in February 2017 and have had an incredible first four years. We developed a membership base, kicked off our campaigns, hit the streets, got involved in city and state politics, and had some major wins. We made bold demands, had huge victories, and canvassed our neighborhoods. We set up our offices, rallied for change, and partied a little too. Now, with chapters in New Orleans and Baton Rouge (with a new chapter in Jefferson Parish on the rise) and campaigns going on statewide, we are building power for good jobs and good schools and ready to really shake up this state.
