About this event

A full agenda and further details will be issued to everyone registered in advance of the event.

AHDB is excited to announce that it’s bringing back its popular red meat export conference in March, providing our exporters with the opportunity to hear more about AHDB’s valuable work across the export arena and gain a greater understanding of the current trade dynamics. The past year has seen new markets open their doors to UK red meat and this year’s conference will look at where the international opportunities exist and how we can turn them into a commercial reality.

The programme will feature presentations from AHDB’s Export Team, as well as representatives working on the ground in key target markets, who will be able to share valuable insight on market conditions and how outbreaks of African Swine Fever and Covid-19 have impacted our export markets. There will also be a presentation on the ongoing work of AHDB, government and industry to secure new access for our red meat exports and the opportunities in existing markets such as the Americas and Asia.

Attendees will also have the chance to hear about halal market opportunities in the Middle East and Africa, as well as insight into the environmental challenges for exporters. AHDB will also provide a first look at new research commissioned by AHDB which explores consumer buying behaviours in the US and Asia and where British produce fits into these markets.
