Join the Commanding General of the Air Force Research Laboratory as she discusses how AFRL is leading the discovery, development, and integration of aerospace warfighting technologies, for both the Air Force and Space Force. Pringle, now wearing two stars, was on hand for the 2023 Space Symposium in Colorado Springs.

Mr. Streland has over 30 years of experience in space system development. He currently serves as Corporate Lead Executive – Los Angeles where he focuses on the NG relationship with the U.S. Space Force’s Space and Missile Systems Center. He has previously held industry positions as Director, Strategy and Business Development for Northrop Grumman Innovation Systems, Orbital ATK and ATK, and as Manager, Space Program Office for Parsons.

Arnie Streland

Maj. Gen. Heather L. Pringle is the Commander, Air Force Research Laboratory, Air Force Materiel Command, Dayton, Ohio. She is responsible for managing a $3 billion Air Force science and technology program and an additional $3 billion in externally funded research and development. She is also responsible for leading a government workforce of approximately 6,500 people in the laboratory's nine component technology directorates, 711th Human Performance Wing, and AFWERX.
