Annual Meeting inauguration, travel, hotel and child care

The 2024 Annual Meeting of the House of Delegates will take place June 7-12 in Chicago.

Meetings of the AMA groups (sections) are held on Friday and Saturday immediately preceding the HOD’s opening session at both Annual and Interim meetings. The groups (sections) will meet June 6-7.

Hyatt Regency Chicago

Reserve your room online at the meeting headquarters hotel, the Hyatt Regency Chicago. You can also call the hotel at 1-800-233-1234 to make a reservation or modify an existing reservation. Make sure to mention that you will be attending the AMA House of Delegates meeting.

Camp AMA

Child care services begin Friday, June 7 through noon Wednesday, June 12. Camp AMA welcomes children ages 6 months–17 years old. Children participate in age-appropriate activities including arts and crafts projects, active games and much more in a safe, nurturing environment. This service is being offered complimentary by the AMA. More information will be posted as it becomes available. 

Bruce Scott, MD, will be inaugurated as the 179th president of the AMA on June 11. Purchase tickets by May 20. Tickets will not be sold on-site.
