Williams Grove Speedway

Since its beginning in 1939, Williams Grove Speedway has been one of the top weekly sprint car tracks in the country. The speedway is a 1/2 mile banked smooth clay oval with speeds reaching in excess of 100 mph. The 2024 racing season runs from March to October. Our largest show, the World of Outlaws National Open will pay $75,000 to the winner plus over $190,000 in total prize money. Season admission prices range from $20 to $50 for adults with discounted youth (Ages 13-20) priced from $10-$20 and Kids 12 and under are always FREE. Special sanctioned events include races for the World of Outlaws Sprint Cars, ULMS Late Models, United States Auto Club, United Racing Club and the PA Sprint Series. Other racing divisions appearing throughout the season include 358 sprint cars, 360 sprint cars, super late models and super sportsman. We strive to be a family oriented facility by hosting Fan Appreciation Nights, Kids Night, fireworks shows and by supporting many local and national charities.

8K To Win For 410 Sprints In Diamond Series, Dirty Deeds 25 For 358 Sprints Pays $2,500 To Win

Mechanicsburg – A Hoosier Diamond Series race paying $8,000 to win is on tap for the Lawrence Chevrolet 410 sprint cars at Williams Grove Speedway on Friday night, May 31, presented by C & D Rigging.

Also on the racing card is the Dirty Deeds 25 for HJ Towing & Recovery 358 sprints, offering a total purse worth nearly $12,000 for the limiteds.

The fastest qualifier in Diamond Series 410 sprint action will receive the Fast Tees Fast Time Award, worth $300.

With two 2024 Diamond Series races already in the books, Danny Dietrich is the current Diamond Series point leader at Williams Grove

Dirty Deeds 25 For Williams Grove 358 Sprints Is May 31
Limited sprint special purse worth nearly $12,000 up for grabs PLUS $500 in awards

Mechanicsburg – A new event for the HJ Towing & Recovery 358 sprint cars at Williams Grove Speedway is nearing as the first Dirty Deeds 25 of the season is slated for Friday night, May 31.

The Dirty Deeds 25 will pay $2,500 to the winner out of a purse worth nearly $12,000 for the limited sprints.

Action, including Diamond Series racing for the 410 sprint cars, gets underway at 7:30 pm.

A second version of the race will take place later this season at Williams Grove, on August 30.

Thanks to Bill Devine and Devine Motorsports, Hard Charger and Hard Luck Awards will be handed out after the Dirty Deeds main event, worth $250 each.

Trone History In Sprinting Will Be Honored Friday At Williams Grove
10K To Win John Trone Tribute Race Is May 24

Mechanicsburg – The career of long-time sprint car owner John Trone of York will be feted this Friday night at Williams Grove Speedway when the $10,039-to-win John Trone Tribute race for 410 sprint cars is staged as part of the Hoosier Diamond Series and presented by HVAC Distributors.

The total purse for the 25-lap main event for the Lawrence Chevrolet 410 sprints is nearly $30,000!

The Trone name’s history in the sport dates back to 1955 when John’s father Ray Trone of York began fielding a No. 39 car on local dirt tracks flying the banner of the family business, Trone’s Sunoco.

Dirty Deeds 25 For 358s Goes To Matt Findley

Mechanicsburg – It had been eight months since Daryn Pittman last sat in a sprint car, at Williams Grove Speedway, and it was eight years since he last visited victory lane at Williams Grove but that didn’t stop him from walking off with the $8,000 top prize in the Lawrence Chevrolet 410 sprint car feature at the track on Friday night.

In fact, the 45-year old Oklahoman scored a clean sweep of the night aboard the Don Kreitz No. 69K, earning $300 for quick time in time trials before going on to win his heat and then the main event.

And he did it all on
