Calling all young filmmakers 14 and younger! Submit a film for the Young Filmmakers Showcase at the 26th Annnual BAMkids Film Festival. This is an exciting opportunity for young people ages 14 or younger to share their cinematic creativity with a wide and welcoming community of film lovers

This is a non-competitive call for short films (4 minutes or less) created by and for younger audiences. A selection of entries that capture the broadest range of stories, themes, and styles will be included on our BAMkids Film Festival webpage for everyone to enjoy.

The BAMkids Film Festival returns as an hybrid festival this year running from February 3-11, 2024. This year’s impressive lineup, tailored for children ages 3—11, showcases films from countries around the world. The festival will include short film programs curated by the Northwest Film Forum and Melbourne International Animation Festival, featuring an array of animated animals, adventures, and magical journeys from around the world suitable for children 3-5, 6-8, and 9+.
