Successful utilization of IPC-CFX on the shop floor requires confidence and trust that equipment has been qualified to IPC-CFX by an independent third party. To provide the electronics industry with this assurance, any equipment vendor with a subscription to the IPC-CFX Self-Validation System can submit equipment models for listing on the IPC-CFX-2591 Qualified Products List (QPL).

EMS and OEM Companies
EMS and OEM companies can view all IPC-CFX-2591 QPL-listed equipment for making best purchasing decisions for their IPC-CFX needs. If you are working with an equipment vendor who indicates their equipment meets the mandatory message sets for their equipment according to IPC-2591, and their equipment is not listed, ask them to demonstrate their capabilities with a QPL listing.

Equipment Vendors
Equipment vendors with a subscription to the IPC-CFX Self-Validation System can submit any model at a specific software version for permanent listing on the IPC-CFX-2591 QPL by purchasing qualification tokens for use in the system.
Once a vendor has self-validated an equipment model to meet the required message sets for qualification, the vendor can submit that model for automated electronic audit for QPL listing. The electronic audit system will conduct the qualification assessment for required and optional IPC-CFX messages. Equipment that passes audit will receive an instant, permanent QPL listing.
If a vendor conducts a software upgrade on a QPL-listed model, the vendor can purchase a discounted requalification token to have that model re-audited for an updated QPL listing.
In addition to the IPC-CFX-2591 QPL listing, equipment vendors will receive a certificate and IPC-CFX QPL logo for use in marketing materials.
