2021 Submissions

Thank you 2021 participants for magnifying your voices, raising awareness, and helping others across New Hampshire.

On May 20th, we celebrated the 2021 participants and their art work at the Tupelo Drive-In Experience in Derry, NH. It was a moving and fun-filled evening to celebrate Granite State youth mental health advocates. We recognized all of this year's participants, announced the top ten finalists, and voted live for the People’s Choice Award. There were also resource tables of mental health and youth-serving organizations and Magnify Voices sponsors. If you did miss the event, you can watch it here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2wzvqYB8nZc

Poem "Exploring many forms of literary expression has become a delightful hobby. Since writing poetry all day is not possible, I have balanced my life with gymnastics, playing harp, ice skating, and photography. Recently through my writing I have embarked on a journey to erase the stigma of mental illness to create hope. The pandemic is changing lives and makes crushing impacts on our community. I chose to write about the pandemic and how it has changed our mental health."

This piece is very sporadic and all over but that's the point. it is supposed to resemble the pain and stress and anger this has brought.
