COLUMBUS, OH (JANUARY 2022) -- MOGL, the first fully compliant online marketplace to connect businesses and brands with collegiate athletes for opportunities to monetize their name, image and likeness (NIL) recently hired Columbus, Ohio based Kelly McNulty to be the sports tech start-up’s first business development manager.

MOGL has an extensive network and numerous investors in the Columbus area. MOGL CEO Ayden Syal’s father is Rajeev Syal, Chief Human Resources Officer of Columbus-based Huntington National Bank.

In her new role, McNulty manages the MOGL customer base and drives brand awareness. She leads sales representatives, assists in local marketing and addresses strategic opportunities in Columbus.

As a former OSU varsity swimmer and scholar-athlete, McNulty is looking to give back and empower the current generation of collegiate athletes, especially female athletes in non-revenue generating sports.

“MOGL is excited to have such an experienced and passionate former athlete join the team,” said Ayden Syal, MOGL Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer. “Kelly’s extensive network of Columbus business owners, brands and individuals adds incredible value to our company.”

McNulty’s experience includes researching potential prospects, fundraising large donations, managing client portfolios and building collaborative partnerships.

Prior to joining MOGL, McNulty was the Associate Director of Development in the athletic department at Ohio State University. There she secured over $1.4 million in support of the department and cultivated a portfolio of 65 major gift prospects. Previously, she was a coordinator at the American Heart Association.

McNulty has a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration and is expected to complete a Master of Business Administration degree in 2023 from the Ohio State University Fisher College of Business.
